How do I contact a landlord?
When you find a home that you are interested in, you can easily send a contact request by clicking the "Contact"-button.
In the request, you can choose to offer a rent that is higher or lower than the one given in the listing. You can also propose different move in and out dates if you do not wish to rent the period stated in the listing.
The request will be sent directly to the landlord, who will then be able to accept or decline your request.
What happens after I have submitted a contact request?
You can always view your sent contact requests in your messages (the chat bubble in the upper right corner) under "Message requests". Landlords often get a lot of applications, so a good tip is to send multiple contact requests. To increase your chances, make sure to complete your profile with as much information as possible and stay active in your search.
Once a landlord has accepted your request, you will receive a notification and you can then start to chat.
Can I submit a new contact request with a new bid to the same home?
Yes, as long as your first request has not already been declined by the landlord. If your application has been denied by the landlord you can not send a new contact request to the same landlord, but you can send contact requests to other landlords and other residences.
