As a step in our work towards increased control for you as a landlord, we do not publish your contact details in your listiing. We focus on providing you with qualitative contact requests instead of as many messages as possible, since we know that it can be very time-consuming to handle a large number of messages, for example by telephone or unstructured e-mails.
What is a contact request and why is it more efficient?
In a contact request via Blocket bostad you can clearly see who is interested in your home, what rent the person wants to pay and what dates it wants to rent your accommodation. You can choose to approve the request and start a chat or to decline it. If you decline, the applicant cannot contact you, while if you accept, both you and the tenant can get in contact through the chat. This way, you will have complete control over which tenant you contact, and you can prevent calls and e-mails from irrelevant users.
What if I want to share my contact information?
When you have found one or many applicants you want to show the property to or talk to, you can share your contact details in the chat. In this way you remain in full control over who can contact you.
How can Blocket housing help me find a good tenant?
The structured profil system, where you can accept or decline requests, is a way for you to easily get an overview of each applicant before deciding whether to get in contact not.
Another smart thing we created for you as a landlord is our matching algorithm. It helps you by proposing tenants that are relevant to your home based on e.g. rental period, desired rent and location. If you get in contact outside the Blocket bostad, this function will not work optimally.
